The first polishing stage uses a cutting compound and cutting pad. Its purpose is to remove or significantly reduce heavier defects such as:

After the cutting stage, the paint can sometimes have very fine haze or micro-marring caused by the more aggressive compound. The second stage uses a finishing polish and softer polishing pad.

The result should be a much cleaner, sharper and more reflective finish.
Rotary and/or dual-action polishers will be used panel by panel, inspecting the results as we go. Every vehicle is different — we assess the paint condition on the day and work to achieve the best possible outcome for your specific paintwork.
